  • I am philanthropist and advisor to donors interested in making deliberate long-lasting changes in underfunded communities. I work diligently with and on behalf of traditionally underrepresented voices, empowering them in amplifying their own aspirations and materializing their plans. I have over 20 years of experience in Philanthropy and nonprofit organizations committed to solving many of the world's pressing challenges through a diverse, inclusive, and equitable lens.

    I am a natural-born connector, an international bridge builder, a professional fundraiser, and an empathetic social justice activist passionate about the nonprofit and philanthropic sector. She is motivated by bold changemakers and inspired by humble leaders committed to building an inclusive culture of understanding while cultivating welcoming environments where all can fully belong, innovate and succeed. Elsa is happiest when she can be of service. She has been a resource in advising, guiding, and teaching both individuals and organizations (nonprofits and corporate) how to engage funders in meaningful community work in solidarity and inspire giving in ways that make a tangible impact.

    Elsa was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal; her career has taken her to many places around the globe. But no matter where she is, she always manages to find, form or foster community. Currently resides in the Boston, area with her family.

  • In 2020 Elsa embarked on a new journey as a Co-Founder of the new Social Equity Access Fund, a direct giving project based on relational trust-based philanthropy, and equitable financial resources distribution for basic needs.

    In 2021 Elsa collaborated on the creation of a start-up social venture company, Emplify (as in amplifying empathy) that uses experiential learning to provide growth experiences to individuals and organizations. Emplify was created to bridge socially constructed differences between people giving them self-awareness tools, so they can understand each other better.

    In 2022, Elsa initiated her consultancy at Lindauer Global an Executive Search and Talent management firm that has been an industry leader for the last for over 25 years.

    In 2023, Ripple Acts was launched with the aim to effectively unveil, activate, and channel positive resources and investment into often overlooked and underserved communities.

    My vision is to be a bridge between means and needs that offers solutions, affects change, develops trust and makes tangible strides towards equity while inspiring others to make an impact. I hope to model and encourage others to offer their time, treasure and talents to build better communities.

    My purpose is to be a social justice facilitator and catalyst for equity.

  • Recognized as one of the Get Konnected! Boston's Most Impactful Black Women in 2021 - category of Philanthropy and Social Justice, by the local prestigious organization, Get Konnected.

    Showcased as an Ethnic Gem in 2023 by Ethnic Online in its signature piece for this magazine made for and about Ethnic Professionals in the New England area.

    Considered by MassLive readers for their Juneteenth issue in 2024 a Top Black leader in Massachusetts working to make a difference in politics, education, business, the arts, etc.

My mission is to unveil, utilize, and channel resources for the community effectively. I amplify voices, I channel resources and promote giving in strategic and equitable ways through partnerships, networking, training and consultations.

My vision is to be a bridge between means and needs that offers solutions, affects change, develops trust and makes tangible strides towards equity while inspiring others to make an impact. I hope to model and encourage others to offer their time, treasure and talents to build better communities.
